Activities You Should Delegate

When I first started Scrivener Solutions, I was freelancing and would do everything myself. With my background in operations and management, I’ve lead many teams and know the importance of structure, systems, and delegation.

The thing about working with small business owners and me becoming a small business owner myself, structure isn’t necessarily a daily reality. Even the most organized person who is pulled in so many directions finds it hard to have structure and processes in a small business.

The question comes up as to what to delegate and when. Delegating tasks is a process and is something that is perfect to start small and then build on. It’s great for your sanity and your budget.

In today’s podcast, I go over the 7 types of activities you should routinely evaluate and delegate.

As a business owner, you should be focusing your time on activities that further the growth of your business, like strategy, planning, servicing, and marketing.

To break things down even further, download my free checklist, 50 Tasks Perfect to Delegate. Not everything on the list may fit your particular situation and you may not want to delegate everything listed, but what the list will do for you is get you thinking.
