Live Full Work Fun is a philosophy I’ve embraced for years, though it took time to distill it into four simple, yet powerful words.
This phrase became the title of my podcast, which is meant to inspire you to live life to its fullest while doing work that’s both enjoyable and supports your lifestyle.
Excited by the concept, we expanded our efforts by creating a Live Full Work Fun store. We offer products—my favorites being the shirts and journals I use daily—that serve as constant reminders to live fully and work joyfully.
To further promote the store and philosophy, we integrated social channels into our company’s overall social media strategy.
I launched a Facebook group (mainly for podcast discussions and sharing), a Facebook Page, an Instagram Page, and a TikTok account.
I firmly believe that life—and business—is an experiment. We should embrace new challenges to develop skills, discover what works, and learn from our experiences.
However, after months of experimentation and careful reflection, I’ve decided to discontinue the social channels associated with the Live Full Work Fun brand. This means closing the Live Full Work Fun Facebook Group, Facebook Page, Instagram Page, and TikTok account.
Reasons for the Change
Several factors have contributed to this decision:
- Quality over Quantity: Managing multiple social channels requires a significant time investment. I need to reallocate my time and energy. By consolidating my efforts, I aim to create higher-quality content that truly resonates with you, my audience.
- Personal Well-being: Ironically, while discussing work-life balance, I found myself struggling to maintain it while managing multiple channels. This change will allow me to practice what I preach more effectively.
- Simplifying: As my career and personal interests evolve, I’m drawn to staying true to my personal brand and sharing new projects and areas of exploration. The Live Full Work Fun philosophy is best shared on my personal brand pages, which simplifies the messaging process for both me and my team.
What’s Next?
While the Live Full Work Fun branded social channels are coming to an end, this isn’t goodbye. I’m excited to continue our conversations and share insights through my personal brand channels and this blog. Here’s what you can expect:
- Live Full Work Fun Podcast Continues: In Fall of 2024, I’ll be launching Season 9 of the podcast. This season, my co-host, Fran Attilio and I will be exploring the theme “Don’t Let the Start Stop You.” It’s a powerful reminder that while beginnings can be daunting, they’re also the gateway to growth, success, and happiness. While I’m keeping the group open temporarily, I’ve frequently mentioned it in podcast episodes. - Personal Brand Focus: You’ll see more content under my personal brand, where I’ll continue to discuss themes of leadership, content marketing, productivity, and personal development.
- LinkedIn Newsletters: I currently publish the Content Marketing Insights LinkedIn Newsletter, offering practical advice, expert insights, and strategies for creating engaging content. In Fall 2024, I’ll launch the Live Full Work Fun LinkedIn Newsletter, providing a fresh perspective on topics covered in the podcast.
