Why Mary Valloni Became a Podcaster

For those of you who are or want to coach or consult, it’s my belief that you should be producing a core piece of content to help lay the foundation for you to earn a reputation in the marketplace.

It takes a while to build a relationship to earn the business from the clients you wish to serve. Through consistent content, you can hone your message for yourself. You gain clarity and position yourself as an expert in the niche you’re serving.

Me, being the curious person that I am, through this podcast, I started asking my guests their perspective on pieces of their content marketing plan.

In December, I had a conversation with Mary Valloni. Mary is a speaker, coach, and mastermind leader in the non-profit fundraising space. I knew she was a podcaster, so I asked her about it.

Listen to the clip from our conversation and you’ll learn how she further served her network by producing a podcast around her book. Then she started a different podcast called Fully Funded as a companion to her Fully Funded Academy.

What was your biggest takeaway from what Mary said? Mine was how she made Sunday her podcast day. She made it a habit and it became a habit to accomplish the goal she had for the show.

Let’s continue the conversation…

Hop over to the Live Full Work Fun Facebook group and post what your biggest takeaway is from today’s show.

In producing content, I don’t think there’s one exact formula. I do think, however, we can learn from each other which helps us figure out what could work for us in achieving whatever goal we have for ourselves.
